Reminder - September Jobkeeper deadline Wednesday 14th Oct

A quick reminder that Wednesday is the last day to lodge your JobKeeper for September. For some businesses, this might be your last one!

But even if it is, you still need to complete the whole process.

  • Identify your eligible employees.

  • Confirm they have been paid at least the minimum of $1,500 per fortnight.

  • Advise your GST turnover for September.

  • Estimate your GST turnover for October.

While you’re at it, check your eligibility for JobKeeper 2.0.

  • Compare your turnover for Sept Quarter 2020 with same period 2019.

  • If it has fallen by 30% you’re eligible.

  • You then need to check the level of payments your staff are eligible for, based on hours worked.

 However, even if it hasn’t, depending on your circumstances, you may qualify under one of the Alternate Tests which can be used.

These tests are available from the ATO website.
