Would you be a good franchisee?
Do you have what it takes to be a franchisee?
For many people, buying a franchise is a great way to get into their own business.
The franchise should have a proven profitable business model, sound infrastructure and systems and procedures which clearly set out the way to operate the business.
It should also provide sufficient training to get you going and support you along the way.
A franchise is a ‘way of doing business’, which is one of its main benefits. And in order to grow their brand, franchisors are looking for people who will continue to do business 'their way'.
This is very important for you to think about.
So, do you want to do your own thing your own way, or will you follow the system and do it their way?
If you would prefer to do things your own way then franchising is probably not for you.
Some questions for you to consider:
Will you follow a proven system?
Will you follow instructions from the franchisor?
Will you abide by the terms of the franchise agreement?
Do you have experience running your own business?
Do you like being in charge and making your own decisions?
Do you have the skills to cover the multiple areas of small business?
If you are looking to buy a franchise feel free to give me a call if you would like to discuss.
