Financial acumen.

Financial acumen is different to financial knowledge.
Acumen is about insights and understanding.
Which numbers to look at and what they mean.
Then figuring out what to do with them.

It’s about understanding the relationships between the numbers.
It’s appreciating the relationship between actions and results. Then seeing the impact those actions have on the numbers.

Financial acumen can be learned.
I actually don’t think it comes naturally, maybe for a select few. But the fundamentals and key relationships between the numbers can definitely be explained and taken on board.

It’s really important for business owners to understand these things. It can be the difference between survival or failure.

There are core concepts which can be understood and taken on.

If you run a franchise, or manage people where finances are involved, then your people need financial acumen.

Our Financial Conversation workshop is an excellent way to improve their financial acumen. In a fun, entertaining and engaging way. Even for people who don’t really ‘get’ the numbers.

Leading brands like Specsavers, Baskin Robbins, Dymocks have run our workshops, with great success.

Let me know if you’d like to discuss further.
