The one all-important law of human conduct.
“There is one all-important law of human conduct. If we obey that law, we shall almost never get into trouble.
The law is this: Always make the other person feel important.
The desire to be important is the deepest urge in human nature.
The deepest principle in human nature is the craving to be appreciated.”
It’s important to take a moment to reflect on these comments, to see how they sit. They certainly resonate for me.
Which begs the next question, how am I doing with my appreciation of others and making them feel important?
To be honest, plenty of room for improvement.
Definitely something to consider over the weekend.
