Planning, Budgets and Regular Reporting (The PBR approach)

If you want to have solid foundations for business success, there are certain things you need to do:

  • Set your plan,

  • Create your budget,

  • Track your performance.

This is called the PBR approach.

It might not be sexy, but it sure works!

The PBR approach is to Plan, Budget then Regularly Report on progress.

  1. The first step is to hold a strategy session to set the Plan.

    • One hour is usually enough.

    • Work through our Planning Workbook, which we will send to you before we start.

  2. The second step is to create a Budget which reflects the Plan.

    • This will show an estimate of the sales revenue you expect to earn

    • It will also identifies the costs you expect to incur.

  3. The third step is to run Regular Reports

    • These will show you how you are progressing.

    • They also give you the opportunity to adapt and adjust your actions as needed.

This is the most effective approach if you want to have control over your business and your future.
